PLACEMENT : ANALYST

iGDP is seeking a motivated and high-potential professional to join its research team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on China’s climate policy with leading domestic and international experts and policy makers.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Senior Analysts and to provide support to our research projects. The successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to think independently, have an insight of the overall economic policy context, and have the potential to be a key member in our research team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the implementation and development of iGDP research projects.

  • Responsible for research projects including undertaking the drafts of research report, literature reviews, data collection and analysis.

  • Support Senior Analysts to explore/maintain strong relations with institutes, colleges/universities and NGOs.

  • Present research findings across a range of mediums including info-graphics, newsletter pieces, social media and speaking at events.

  • Support iGDP events.

  • Participate in workshops, project missions, and provide necessary support.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree in economics, environment, public policy, finance or relevant fields.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experiences in research or analysis, ideally in think-tanks or international organizations on environmental issues.

  • Strong analytical and writing skills.

  • Proficient skills on Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team.

  • Ability to balance multiple, competing priorities at the same time.

  • A good command of English (written and spoken) is essential.
