Xi Xi has over six years of research experience in the climate and energy industry. Ms. Xi joined iGDP in September 2020 and focuses on the low carbon energy transition in China and abroad. She is responsible for the application of the Energy Policy Simulator at the national and local level in China and the development of methodologies and tools to assess low-carbon transition pathways for energy systems.

Xi is also responsible for research on power markets and related investments in the Belt and Road region, with a focus on Africa. Xi worked at Abt Associates for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and earlier at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center as an investment analyst.

Xi graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Latin Honors, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Environmental Studies.
