The IE-iGDP Just Transition Observatory is a hub for knowledge, policy development, and capacity building. It aims to facilitate the sharing of best practices, provide technical and strategic support to stakeholders, and promote collaborative approaches among governments, businesses, think tanks, communities, and civil society. The Observatory is a collaboration between IE University and iGDP.

Key initiatives and deliverables of the IE-iGDP Just Transition Observatory include the development of the Just Transition Indicator System, a framework to track and assess the effectiveness of Just Transition policies across different regions. The Annual Just Transition Report will offer a comprehensive analysis of how countries are progressing toward fair and sustainable climate transitions. To further facilitate dialogue, the observatory will host an Annual International Conference at IE University, where global experts, policymakers, and stakeholders will come together to share best practices and address key challenges. Complementing these efforts, a series of Webinars and Seminars will be organized, providing regular opportunities for discussions with thought leaders and practitioners in the field of sustainable transitions.
