Yang Li has focused on green and low-carbon transition research for the last ten years. Ms. Yang joined the iGDP team in May 2015 to lead the research team. She leads research in energy systems analysis, low carbon development planning and evaluation, energy environment and climate change policy evaluation.

She has participated in projects such as the Chongqing Carbon Neutral Pathway and the Green Finance Roadmap, the China Carbon Neutral Synthesis Report, and the Northeast Asia Low Carbon Cities Peer Review and Comparison.

She holds a PhD in Population, Resource and Environmental Economics from Renmin University of China, awarded 2014.
