Liu Jingning joined iGDP in March 2025, where she participates in research on low-carbon energy transition. Her research focuses include green and low-carbon industrial transformation, energy transition, and the development of green and low-carbon innovative technologies.

Prior to this role, Jingning worked at the Beijing Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS) and the International NGO ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability), where she was deeply involved in research and practice related to sustainable finance, green and low-carbon transformation of carbon-intensive industries, and urban circular and resilient development.

Jingning holds a Master of Public Administration from University College London, obtained in 2018.
