Yuan Yating has focused on carbon pricing and energy transition for the past four years. Ms. Yuan joined iGDP in January 2023. She supports iGDP’s research projects, including China Carbon Neutrality Tracker (CCNT), carbon pricing policy, and climate and energy policy.

Prior to joining iGDP, she was an Assistant Analyst at the Rock Environment and Energy Institute (REEI), supporting research, administration, and external communications. Her work centered on energy transition and carbon pricing, low-emission transportation, sustainable management of municipal solid waste, and green healthcare.

Ms. Yuan received an MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh in 2018.
