Tongxin has focused on green and low-carbon transition research for the last 3 years. Tongxin joined the iGDP team in August 2021 to support the research team. 

Tongxin conducts research on supporting carbon neutrality planning with Energy Policy Simulator (EPS), provincial level low carbon development progress, Non-CO2 GHG emissions, etc. She works on EPS-based Research on Guangdong and Jiangxi’s Dual-Carbon Goal and Pathways, Provincial Climate Actions in China, Non-CO2 GHG Emissions in Waste Management Sector in China. 

Tongxin worked as a research assistant at the Woodrow Wilson Center’s China Environment Forum and supported research and writing related to ocean plastic issue and waste management in China and the US. She holds a Masters in Public Policy, McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University, May 2020.
